| The reason I haven't posted in so long?
Because it took me absolutely forever to figure out how to post a new post with the new Xanga thingie.
I leave for college in 10 days. Wow. I'm so excited!
Sorry I haven't been commenting or whatever, I've been busy! I just got back from NYC-Kat, not gonna lie, it's a weird place haha. There were so many freaking PEOPLE. And eeeeeeevvvvvveeeeeeerrrrryyyyyyoooonnnnnneeee smoked. I think I inhaled more cigarette smoke in the 4 days I was there than I have in a year here haha. But it was cool! The Met and the Frick Collection were amazing!!!
That's about all I have in me right now haha.

| My summer's been pretty mundane. I'm working a lot. I picked up my sister from camp and got to see all my old friends. That was fun. Geez I haven't used this thing in forever. Haha but neither has anyone else, really. Well OK I'm lying.
That's about it.
I'm super excited for college.

| I'm a graduate!
Yesterday I had my first day in...over a month where I had absolutely nothing to do. No work, no school, no AP tests, no graduation parties, no prom...I just sat around all day long and didn't do anything. It was great.
Odd. No more high school. It's weird!
I'm hungry. I think. But I don't want to eat anything. I've had junk all day. Actually, I haven't eaten much of anything today...I had a Parmesan pretzel this morning, half a slice of cold pizza, a handful of m&ms, and some pita chips.
I ordered my laptop for college today. Exciting. I think I'm going to keep using my old computer all summer, though, I want my laptop to last for a long time and I don't want to wear out the battery this summer before I even go to college.
I have a ton of money right now-it's great. From work (I'm making like $80 a weekend!) to babysitting to graduation gifts (the standard gift to receive from someone you don't really know but who feels obligated to send you something seems to be $50) to the money I already had...haha I'd better save it though, I'll need it come August 22.
Oh yeah, and I'm going to New York this summer! Only for like four days...but I'm excited! I get to see shows and go to the Met (THEY HAVE OLD WOMAN FROM THE HELLENISTIC PERIOD THERE!) and Central Park and such. I'm interested to see if the New York stereotype is true-rude people who don't hold doors open or smile and ask how you're doing when you're in a store or people who run into you on the sidewalk and don't apologize or whatever. Also if everyone wears black. I wonder how cold it'll be? It'll be summer, so here it'll probably be mid to high 90s...there, I don't know, maybe it'll be in the 80s? The low 90s? Surely it won't be in the 70s, that's crazy for summer.

Stat AP-easy, but I didn't care at all. I don't get credit for it at Trinity.
English Lit AP-easy except for the poetry prompt.
Art History AP-tomorrow. It's going to kick my butt. I'm sooo not prepared.
but on the bright side, I feel like I've been super social lately! Woohoo!
Graduation on Friday. Last class ever today. Last time to ever wear my uniform. Weird. After 13 years...
Work is busy. But I'm making a ton of money.

| So. Busy. Parties. Homework. Work. Babysitting. No free time. Ahhhh.
Senior Party was fun. Drunk people are hilarious. And kind of obnoxious. But I had fun, haha.
My graduation party was also fun. Yay.
AP tests start next week. English I want a 4 on, but I think I can get that pretty easy. Stat, I don't get credit for so it doesn't matter. Art History, I will be so so so angry if I don't get a 4. But I don't know...I don't feel prepared for it. I do, but I don't. I don't know.
Prom this weekend. Because of work, I will have exactly 45 minutes to get ready. Goody. And I wanted to go all out this year...get my hair and make-up done, all that jazz. Be all girly and waste my money. I've never done that before, and when else am I going to get to except for, like, my wedding day or something?
I need shoes to match my dress.
